Online league issues with salary cap and waivers
I'm the commissioner of an online league in FHM 12, and we've recently run into a couple of issues that are impacting the league's fairness and overall enjoyability.
We started with a custom league save file in FHM 11, and recently imported the save over to FHM 12. We're just about to start the regular season, and learned that two of our human-controlled teams -- Calgary and Pittsburgh -- are at an unfair disadvantage compared to the rest of the league. This past off-season, we changed the league salary cap ceiling to be $95.5 million, but the Flames and Penguins in particular are for some reason stuck on the old cap ceiling of $88 million, while the rest of the league has the new cap ceiling of $95.5 million. We've stalled our simulation due to this issue.
Additionally, we've found that the game will place some players on waivers who shouldn't be/aren't waiver eligible, including players who are 20-21 years old, and have yet to play in the league. One of our GMs has reported that this also happens in their single player saves.
I've recently sent the league files to Jeff via email. Any help we could get on resolving these issues (particularly the first one) would be greatly appreciated.
