Players coming off IL not getting rehab work?
I've been having an issue where a player is about to come off an IL stint and I'm sending them down to the minors for rehab work. When I check, they never get any work and just sit there. Is this a flaw or is there a fix for this or box to check to fix this?
Thanks! |

I've never had that happen, position players have always been in the starting lineup. Starting pitchers in the rotation and RP have always been used and are often good enough they are assigned the closer role.
You could try "force start" to get them in the game. I recently had an OF come back from a hamstring who missed 10 weeks. I sent him to AAA and the game wanted him to start in the OF. I just wanted him to play and not run in the OF. I force started him at DH, had AAA manger fill out lineup, and he was in there every day as the DH. I'd think this would work as a SP too, but not sure about a RP. If a RP I would try to force start as closer or at least setup. No idea why you are seeing this and you shouldn't have to workaround anything to get them to play. But maybe my suggestion will get you past your current issue.
