Wanting to do a fictional league starting in the 1900s, any suggestions?
I'm planning on doing a historical major league, starting in 1902 and going from there, while trying to be fairly accurate in terms of players and stats and financials and such. Any pointers anyone can give me?
Also, sorry if this is the wrong forum, please direct me to the right one if it is. |

You don't have to turn off facegen unless you are close to literally maxxing out your computer hard drive as we speak.
What about the Historical default settings are you concerned about. Everyone that has played the games has tweaks they do after becoming familiar with the game but I think you are fine going with the defaults. The key things that will get you league and thus player stats in-line with historical but still allows plenty of "what-if" opportunity is 1-year recalc and auto-recalc on for the league. Those are defaults though, so I'd roll with it and have fun. In fact, the historical facegen mod will add to your enjoyment of the game in my opinion (but I made nearly 25% of the MLB ones, so I'm biased)

Something will happen and you will want to go back. It happens to all of us.

Also, if you like to tinker, create quick starts from certain spots so you don't have to go all the way back, reload logos and redo all of your settings if you decide something isn't quite right... I'm a big fan of playing with historical players and fictional teams. Tell us more about what you have in mind. Good luck!
