Multiverse Baseball League openings

Multiverse Baseball League (MBL) is a 20-team fictional league looking to fill 2 GM vacancies. This fictional league is set in the 1980s and was created with the concept that the MLB and organized professional baseball didn't survive the post-war era and was resurrected with the upstart "Federal League" in the early 80s.

We are currently at the Winter Meetings between the 1983 and 1984 seasons and have openings with the Dallas Titans and Seattle Cascades franchises.

Dallas was a 91 win team last season and has the 9th-ranked farm system. The franchise is set up for short-term competitiveness and long-term success. Dallas is a big market team with the 4th highest budget. It’s fair to describe this team as being on a “silver platter”.

Seattle was last place last season and holds the #1 overall draft pick in addition to having the 5th-ranked farm system in the league. Seattle is an above average market with a middle-of-the-pack team budget and just needs an attentive GM that’s looking for a rebuild.

Important Game Settings:
- Currently using OOTP25 and will be switching to OOTP26 after our 1984 season.
- Sims are twice a week (M, Th) each being a 7-day sim. Designed to be a more relaxed pace and less cumbersome.
- During the offseason we increase the sims to 3 times per week (M, Th, Sa)
- Coaching, Scouting, Team Chemistry: ON
- Owner goals/controls finances: OFF
- Ratings 20/80, increments of 5 (relative turned on)
- Universal DH
- Draft Pick trading is turned ON
- Rule 5 is enabled
- Full slate of AAA, AA, A+, A, A-,Rk+, and Rk leagues
- Arizona Fall League (developmental) has been added

This league would have been great except for the people in it. The Commish will actually put you in time out on the chat channel if you say things he doesn't agree with. Not fould language or anything like that. Just if he doesnt like your ideas. Rather then saying I dont like that idea. He will actually mute you. He is seriously a Nazi. I got out of there real quick when I saw the type of person he was. I was not the only one. When I joined 3 people had just left for similiar reasons. I thought I would find out for myslef anyway. And I found out. My recomendation is to avoid this league unless you liek being treated like a child in a room full of adults. Told to be quiet and do as your told or else you will go into time out. Literally laughable how he runs things. So I got the hell out. Join up id you like but you will probalby be leaving soon if you do.
