QMJHL Overage player

I started a save with the BLB Armada in the QMJHL and just received a mail saying that the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies signed a 27-year old goalie.

Other question, can CHL players commit to NCAA teams? (similar to the rule change IRL).

Yeah, it was pointed out in the tech support forum, too. I think I know what's causing it, we'll get that fixed.

And yes, CHL players can move to NCAA teams now, you should see quite a few of them doing that after (or even during) their junior careers.
