Divisions based on record (3 Years)
I am looking for a twist on the Pro/Reg league. I can not do that with my current setup. My League has two Sub Leagues, AL and NL. With each league having 4 divisions, 5 teams each. I play with an imbalanced schedule with no interleague games. I am thinking of ranking the teams 1-20 based on the last 3 seasons. Placing them in divisions that way. So the 5 best teams would be in the first div. and the 5 worst in the last, adjusting each year. Some questions: Would there be any reason to move teams between sub-leagues?
Should the playoff record be included? If so, would w% be used, or total wins? Just brainstorming, it is early in my current season, so I should have a bit more than a month till the season is over.

I wouldn't move teams between subleagues since they do not play each other.
I would not include playoff records. Should be based on regular season only. |
