usa_hank Minors (Single A) Join Date: Jun 2025 Posts: 68	Mathis Just curious, is anyone starting the new Mathis for his defense? If so, how's he doing and how are your pitchers doing in turn? Feels like this year, offense seems important from every position moreso than previous PT season, but if you can start a guy that sets the normalized max in framing and pretty much all catcher defense... I'm just curious if the benefits of this strategy outweigh the cost of throwing away an at-bat every time through the lineup this season. Last edited by usa_hank; 10-25-2025 at 03:51 PM.
