Rule updates for MLB/MiLB and scheduling

Some minor changes of things I've noticed this year as well as something recent I just noticed and prompted this post.

  1. [*]MLB Draft Order is incorrect
Won the WS as the last wildcard in and noticed I was drafting 17th, which seemed wrong. Went digging and found out that is due to using the draft rules of the prior CBA which sorted by record. Current rule (from what I found):
    Quote:
Postseason teams pick after non-postseason teams in the order of their postseason finish (for example, clubs losing in the Wild Card Round pick before clubs losing the Division Series); within each group, teams are sorted by revenue sharing status, then by reverse order of winning percentage.
  2. Minor League Playoffs are incorrect
Lot of changes in the minors in recent years, and it's pretty minor, but playoffs need to be updated. It'd be great if it was possible to set-up the AAA playoffs as they are currently but I get that might be more effort than worth. Current playoffs (as of last year):
    Quote:
The format for the 2025 Postseason at Double-A, High-A and Single-A will consist of four teams per league in a best-of-3 Division series, followed by a best-of-three Championship series. The four playoff participants per league will be the winners of each division from both halves based on the best winning percentage of each half. In the event the same Club wins both halves, the Club with the next best winning percentage in the second half will advance.

However, with only six clubs in the Northwest League, the format for the Postseason will consist of a single, best-of-five Championship series. The two playoff participants will be decided based on the best winning percentage of each half. In the event the same Club wins both halves, the Club with the next best winning percentage in the second half will advance.
  3. Set regular season start date as day/week
TEW has this option, basically instead of setting a specific date or just a day (e.g. Tuesday), being able to set the start on something like say 3rd tuesday of March. Currently I have to update the start date because if the start day is past the date, it goes to the next week and pushes everything back a week.
  4. Set common off-days
Another schedule update, but it'd be cool to be able to tell the game certain days should be used for off-days. Like current MLB where it's usually Monday/Thursday or MILB where it's usually Monday. Mainly for generating schedules without a specific file

If you want the third Tuesday of March, set the start date to 3/15 and the start day to Tuesday.

By then you'll have already had two Tuesdays so it would start on the third one.

This is how I've set my start dates forever at this point.
