Post Is there a stuff rating for pitchers?

I haven't found a stuff rating for pitchers and was wondering if I'm blind or this is a missing feature. I've been reading about pure sim baseball and it includes a stuff rating as well as HH2002 which I own. So anyone got any answers?

If you use the reduced ratings setup there is, it doesn't change anything about the game or ratings except that you view them differently.

I'm on the regular ratings, and I noticed in spring training that I can have pitchers improve their "pure stuff" or some such.

Does this improve a hidden stat, or is this just general improvement that will show in the player's regular ratings?

If you use the Reduced Rating system, you will get ratings for Stuff, Control, Movement and Velocity. I think Velocity has no effect, but the other 3 categories all have varying affects on the traditional ratings. (Average, 2Bs, HRs, BBs, Ks). Basically if you try and improve pure stuff during spring training, you end up effecting all the other ratings in small ways.

Go to League Setup, on the left hand side there is a box called League Options. All the way at the bottom of that box is Ratings System.
