Final Frontier Baseball is a new league forming by a group of 8 who have played online OOTP across various leagues together. We're looking for active, committed GMs to build a vibrant, fun league. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of a future decorated league.

Sim schedule: Sunday to Thursday (5x/week - time TBD)
Scouting: ON
Coaching: OFF
Universal DH
Maximum 50% retention on a traded player.
Injuries: Normal
Ratings: 20 to 80, relative to MLB
Contracts: 5y max, extensions >1y after 4y ML service time. no more than +-30% the AAV in any extension year's salary.
No compensation picks
Owner goals/Controls Finances: Off
Draft Pick Trading: ON (2-years of picks available)
GMs are expected to participate in ⁠general discussion, respond to DMs in a timely manner and communicate absences.

Once all teams are picked we will sim 15 seasons into the future. You will be locked into the team you select for the next 10-15 seasons before expansion. This is done avoid participating in an inaugural draft and to give the league an immediate history.
While an inaugural draft can be fun, there are a few issues, along with themes I'd like to promote among GMs.
- service time is incredibly wonky after an inaugural draft.
- promote long-term stability among GMs by committing to a franchise and its long-term outlook
- inaugural drafts are time-consuming. We all want to play the game immediately with a stabilized league file
- simming into the future will generate a more balanced distribution of players & prospects to balance the trade environment and free agency market
