"This quickstart game must be loaded from our server before you can use it"

I run exclusively fictional leagues. I keep a quickstart of each league for when I want to start a new save. Today I have an error message telling me that my most recent one can't be started without downloading the save from their server and telling me to download it from the add-ons file. What???

Was the QS made in OOTP26? Or was the QS made while in OOTP 25 and trying to open it in 26 for the first time? Trying to think what the issue might be… first guess was a 25 QS not yet imported to 26 and resaved as a 26 QS.

It was made in 26

That error can appear if the game has trouble finding the files. I'm guessing there was an error in creating the file, something maybe was corrupted. It's possible that an anti-virus might have done something with the quickstart, or possible something else happened in saving.
