historical play with fictional leagues

Can I set up a league containing a miture of teams from the 70s /80s including WHA /NHL and a few soviet national teams?If so how ?

In league structure (under edit league, after you enable commisioner mode) you can add any historical team. I don't think non-north american teams can be added though.
