Post Import from OOTP 25 - Game crash every time I enter play ball

Hi everyone,

I imported my save from OOTP 25 as well as my customs views and filters. That are the only two things I did. When I go to opening day and try to play the first game of the season, the game crashes. Sometimes it's even before entering the ballgame, sometimes it's on the first display of the ballgame, sometimes after a few outs, but it's impossible for me to finish this game. Did anyone had the same issue ?

Thanks !

We have made several fixes, please do make sure you are on the latest version 26.1.45 (https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=361809). If it's still an issue, sending a trace file could help us identify issues.

You might also try updating your video card drivers, as this can sometimes help with OpenGL issues. Also, if you go to settings > 3d > you'll see some different OpenGL options there. If you experiment with choosing some different options, you might find one that fixes things.

OOTP 24, Windows 11 Home. No changes to systems, OS, AV, or other applications running since everything was working just before crash. 8th year of historical league. Starting on game date 5/16/1926, OOTP crashes when I press "Start Game." I hear a few seconds of crowd noise before the crash. I tried:
1) Re-starting OOTP using 'continue.'
2) Re-starting OOTP using 'load game.'
3) Warm boot.
4) Cold boot.
5) "Autoplay" worked. But the next attempt to "start game" still crashed.
6) Repeat steps 1, 2, and 4.
7) Steam "verify file integrity" (per instructions in OOTP24 bug forum). Found 1 file, apparently fixed it b/c found none on repeat try a few minutes later.
8) Repeat steps 1, 2, and 4.
9) Could not ftp save files (per instructions in OOTP24 bug forum and here: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...p-developments). These look they were written for a previous version of Windows; in any case, Windows 11 File Explorer does not respond to this.

So I followed the instructions in this forum to collect trace files. Here they are. Since the game crashed, there are two.

I have a lot of hours invested in this league; I would hate to lose it.

A bit more info, maybe relevant, at least in ruling a out a few things. I notice that a lot of reported crashes seem to have to do with editing stadiums or with 3D View:
-I have not used the stadium editor.
-I have imported historical ballparks from Silvam14's collection. Three were imported prior to the 1926 season, but the stadium where "play game" first crashed (Cincinnati) was not one of them (it was the 3rd game of a series anyway). Then after autoplaying 3 games, my next attempt to "play game" was at Pittsburgh (also not imported this season).
-I see that in the game's /data/database folder there are files named "era_ballparks" and "pt_ballparks." Both have change dates of 01/19/2024, which is probably my original purchase date.
-In the saved_games folder for this league "1919 NYG #3.lg" there is a file named "parks" which has a change date early this morning, after my various troubleshooting efforts. It says it is a WordPerfect 2021 file. I tried to upload it through your "Manage Attachments" dialog but it is apparently not an allowable file type.
