That card is a perfect example of whale bait. You could get a Halladay plus Whitey Ford and Cy Young for that money. All three are likely better than the Feller card. You're paying for the "I have every card" bonus as part of the purchase price.

Scarcity is also a factor.
I think there are only 5 Fellers, and he has much value for old time theme tournaments since he's a pretty good hitter. I think he was the best pitcher overall for a few weeks after the first PTMS.

Again, a point I've been pushing. A rating on card performance across leagues would add so much information in determining value.
