importing '25 to '26

I've been running my league on a MAC and at the end of the season I tried to convert to '26 and the path to '25 saved games is empty.

By chance does anyone know the correct path?

Because of the way containers and access to them work on a Mac, you have to copy your saved game(s) from the 25 saves_games folder to the 26 saved_games folder then use the import option.

I'm using these steps but after pasting 25's game file into the 26 saved game files folder, when I go to "Import OOTP 25 Game" there are no files in the folder. Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to import my previous game?

What I do is simply create a new subfolder under the main OOTP Baseball 26 folder on a Mac. For this version, I called it 25 SAVED GAMES.

Then just copy the full .lg folder of the saved game you want to import from the saved games directory in 25 and paste it into this new folder, then point to it when you are doing the import.

The thing with Macs and OOTP is every year they flip-flop behind the LIBRARY function which is hidden so that the game simply can't find them when offering you path options. The files are there, just hidden from OOTP. It is a right pain. This way they are all in the same category so it can see them.
