Editing the WBC?

Hello!

Didn't see my exact question in the forums. Is there a non-game-breaking way to change what teams are fixed in the WBC and how qualifiers are picked? Trying to adjust it so that it's not the same handful of teams every year since I add a lot of international leagues and players to my saves. Would it be easier to just remove the WBC and replace it with a custom tournament?

Relatedly, in a prior save, when I added a ***-esque league to my game it for some reason linked Taiwanese/Taipei players to the season/career records for that league and I believe it has to do with those players being in the WBC files(someone had mentioned that certain players were in the WBC historical files that could be utilized and I wonder if that's what the game decided to do with them here). Any way to not have that happen?
