Draft and Crashes

I have all the seasons and started my historical save in 1983. I just got to the 1989 draft and there was only one player, Nate Snell who is 36 years old. What would cause that? I did not edit the pool reveal date from 30 days prior as I read somewhere it effected the players eligible for the draft. In previous versions I revealed the draft class in June so I can access the draft class vs my needs prior to the trade deadline, especially if I project picking in the top 10. Never had a season that didnt populate a draft.

Also since the last update the game has been crashing on my iPad on a somewhat regular basis to the point where I save after each game.

Now I have gotten to the next draft and there are only two players in the draft pool. This time it was Pat Keedy and Trench Davis. Only thing in common with last years one player is all three finished their short real life ML careers before showing in my draft. I will assume this save is now broken. I started a new historical game in the same year I started my save and quick simmed year to year well past my current season and there were no issues with the draft.

Is there some sort of path to historical database I can check? This save was just developing a history I would hate to trash it but it looks like I am heading in that direction.

The crashing should be fixed in the previous patch, it was an issue with iOS 16.
Regarding the draft pool, it's possible that is occurring because you don't own the historical season you have advanced to? I will double check with our team

I do own all the seasons. The start year of the save in question is 1983. I started a new game in 1983, made sure I matched all the settings from my save, set my manager options to do not disturb and continually played year by year to November 15th went all the way to 11/15/2000 and there was no problem with the draft pool.

Whatever is going on it seems to be only effecting my save.

The save with the error importing players, did you move the draft around at all in it? One option that can prevent players from importing is if you run a draft in, say, November 1984, and then move the draft to June, then the June 1985 draft will attempt to load the same players.

Another option you can check is what historical year is set in your save. If you go to the league settings, the historical tab, and make sure that the year listed there is the correct year for your game. If for some reason the league year got reset back to 1983 or 1984 or something, then the game would try to reload those year's players.

I didn't move the draft date, When I set up the save I did however move the draft pool reveal date to be prior to the trade deadline. I have done this since I have been playing in both the desktop and mobile versions. I just looked but cant find the post where it was mentioned that moving the reveal date could affect the draft pool so I moved it back to 30 days prior. I did wait until Jan 1st to move the date back to the default.

I just checked and the year is correct.
