Minor League Development
Is anyone else having development issues where guys in the minors are not progressing until they are 28+ and finally able to be in the MLB. This is causing the rule 5 draft to be inundated with top prospects.

Development is all out of whack. It has been really frustrating for the past 2 versions of this game.

For the life of me, I can not develop hitting.
I've always considered myself pretty good at OOTP, I've never had any trouble developing juggernaut teams. But in 26 nothing I can come up with gets my offense any better. Sell out my farm system aquiring players and they immediately start declining. Sell guys away and they improve. I've got the best possible coaches at every single level with at least an excellent rating at player development and influencing mechanics. I've modified my stadium to improve offense. I routinely have a top 3 run prevention team. Always top 5 defense, always top 5 runs allowed team. But the principles I use to have excellent run prevention I just can't get to work for run scoring. I've got my player development budget maxed out. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong on the offensive side of the ball. I'm currently running a season that is in year 2041 and despite having a roster full of guys that should be able to get on base they just can't. I'm about to just punt on this franchise and start over. But I can't imagine what I can do differently.
