Lightbulb A Different Sort of League

Ok so everyone who starts a league has a sca-billion openings - or are they trying to start a league - whatever - thats cool with me.
Historical, Simulation, very any choices to pick from. Heres the deal with the one I am currently running...

Fanta-storical League....
Owners have taken teams from franchises thru history and we have been placed in 1945 - starting there and progressing thru a historical timeline. Finances are on - amatuer's will be in yearly sequence using Ankits Career Database in its latest form, salary cap, promotions - no draft pick trades - special achievement bonus paid to teams for both career and milestone accomplishments. We are finishing up our first year, witht he playoffs looming. God time to get in if you want to.

Sounds Wierd, eh? Sounds interesting, heh...well currently have one and maybe two openings - possibility of expansion depending on situation.

The link below is the pivot-point to access all the info you need to know, message board, OOTP Output etc., take a gander, it may not be for you, but thenit might just be the twisty that you desire.

I am commish and u can reach me thru the league site or thru here or reply thru e-mail function on this board - whatever.

Take a look - it could be you'll wanna get withus inthis fun, different type of OOTP league. AH yes, I'd prefer you own the game - unless you can convince me otherwise. Any other Q's ask away.

Wild Things revisitied

My apologiers for overlooking the simple fact that it is the 1971 Pittsburgh Pirates that are currently open. Possibility of Hastings Senators depending on owners schedule.
With regard to league expansion - if there is enuf intyerest we would incorporate your selection from the remaining franchises and place into proper division.
Franchises that are availaible include, Kansas City, ST.L (both), Boston (both), SFG, NYG, Milwaikee (AL/ current NL), Detroit, ChiSox, Houston, Montreal, San Diego, Anahiem...more u get the picture. So you would choose your franchise and the year they played in - rosters would be incorporated fromthat year and poof yer in...
thanks for the responses and questions, hoipe this additional info helps.

Well yes, the Hastings Senators (Washington 1969) finished dead, and i mean dead, last inthe league and entering the 1946 season got the first pick overall ---introducing Mr. Ralph Kiner...

If you've read alt he above stuff - then you know where we are at, and what we purport to do in the WTL.

If interested, please stop by - take a peek..email me or hti the email commish box -
