Imported Players from Imported NHL teams didn't partake in custom Internationals before 1988/89

Devs claims to have been solved the problem where imported NHL players aren't participate in Custom Worlds/Olympics, but they still won't participate on it before 1988/1989 seasons, forcing me to workaround it by starting my save after that point

I imported the current NHL into a custom game started in 1979, and saw real players in the first World Championship. What's the exact setup that you're using when you don't get real players participating in the international tournaments?

I imported 1955 into 2024, and no players from 1955 nhl participated in the first WC

Yeah, I see it now that I tried that setup. We'll take another look at it, something's definitely still broken.
