Historical League importing pitchers with no stamina

I'm playing a historical league with random debuts enabled. The player creation modifiers have not been changed but each rookie draft class includes many pitchers with 0 stamina and a lot of starters with a 20 stamina rating.


Is there a way to fix this in the player creation modifiers or is this a bug with the import engine?

I’ve noticed this as well in my 1977 load. Dave stieb always comes into the draft with 0 stamina

That's really disappointing since it makes historical leagues unplayable


I guess the good news is the league just crashed during a save so it's gone now anyway. This will be the second league I've lost this way - maybe I'll just wait and hope these bugs get fixed in OOTP26

My game, like the OPs was a random debut which has undergone some revision this year. This was not an issue in RD games in the past. I play RD games so I’ve been frustrated this year as the RD issues have, for a subset of users, undermined the fantastic improvements made to the historical gameplay results. But it’s unfair to say their focus is only on PT. Its not.

For my part, I just put these draftees on the shelf for a year and when the recalc hits them next, they sort themselves out.

Got a question. I'm at work, so I can't remember exactly what the feature is called but the button for it sits right below the Adjust/Weaken settings option. It allows one to recalculate things if any editing is done to the adjust/weaken settings. Would this stamina issue be corrected if one were to use that recalculate button each season prior to the amateur draft? Probably not, but I thought I would ask. The reason I ask is, you say you put the players on the shelf for a year and then the following year recalc solves the problem.

I tried David's suggestion.
After draft pool announcement went to league reports, selected pitcher rookie draft pool and all relievers had 1 stamina rating (1-100 scale). Tried David's suggestion (recalc rating button) and the ratings did change to what seems reasonable.
Now if I can remember doing that every year!
