desktop icon disappeared

I rebooted my laptop today and when it came back up the icon for OOTP was gone...how do I accress the game without it?

Use windows search, or hit the windows key, click on all apps, and look for it?

if your game is Steam based, you can go to steam - library - and there is an option there to make a desktop icon from a right click - manage - add desktop shortcut. hope this helps & works ....

I did find the game file but do not know how to open it

IT is PC...I found the files but so not know how to open the game

If it is a Fast Spring version, just redownload the .exe file from this post and reinstall it. Same as you would a patch. On the last step, it asks you if you want a desktop shortcut, say "yes". That's probably easier than trying to walk through other steps.

Do you have the exe-file in your folder? Then simply right-click on that symbol, create a shortcut and move that to the desktop.

I cant find that exact screen in my files

If Fast Spring, just download it again and double click that download .exe file and install it where you usually do. The last step of installation is creating a desktop shortcut. It's easier than all the walking through over a forum thread of your computer. See my post a few ones back.

My documents is where your saved files are. You need to open where the game is installed. Search for OOTP25.exe by using the page you were on. However, click on the Acer C: and then in the top right, where it says "Search Acer C: (C

type in ootp25 and when you see the baseball logo with 25 on it or the words ootp25.exe, right click on it, go down to where it says "show more options" click on that, then click on or hover over "Send to" and click on Desktop (create shortcut)
