122 year old free agent

I’m playing a historic franchise in 2004, and sorted my Free Agents by age. I noticed this 122 year-old player who last played in 1902. Willie Wilson, who last played in 1994, is also on there and a couple others. I don’t have random debut on and, so far as I know, never have. Someone on Reddit suggested this was worth reporting, so here I am!

Others on reddit have reported the same thing. I don't think it's a database issue. this seems like players or ID's are being pulled when they should not be pulled. Like, why would someone be in 2004 as a free agent, who played in 1902. The guy only played 3 games his whole life and he should not be a free agent at the age of 122 in 2004.

Now in my current historical league, I have not run into this, but others are reporting it, in the OP's post on reddit. I do think it is a legitimate bug over just being a database issue unless there has been past issues with this type of thing and it has been a database issue?

Willie Wilson is a db issue EDIT: (but it turns out, not an error).

I don't see an issue with Durham but it maybe has been fixed already (checking minor league real stats on the player would tell you the stat line causing it).

The change is because OOTP changed the RAH function, so it doesn't look to the field in the db that has a year in it to indicate how long to keep them around. It now searches stat lines. So, an odd or erroneous stat line now can be found because the player stays in the game too long (or comes in too early) due to that stat line of some other similarly named player having his stat line. I've fixed many of these this year.

This would go under the Historical db thread if others are found requiring investigation. People reporting should, ideally, give the Historical Minors ID of the player.
