PT won't load save file

I've been trying to play perfect team all night and I keep getting the "Could not download league file. Please try to restart OOTP. If the error persists, please try again in a few minutes there is likely a temporary server outage" message. The few times it has let me in, the instant i try to download an update it kicks me back out and I can't get back in
