Do any of you restart your Sim to use new roster updates?

I usually start my long term Sim after the first big patch (late May or so) but always see that they update the rosters as part of each successive patch.

Do any of you quit your long term saves to take advantage of those or do you just stick with your save?

I am always curious how others play the game so that is why I am asking. And if you do restart, can I ask why? Thanks.

I've done both. Why? Because I want it to match the starting point of the world I'm watching maybe? I want to redo part of my sim. It's fun haha. I will often update attributes based on current ratings too these days at the beginning of a sim. Ultimately though, I would play this game with fake players, or with historical seasons I don't know well enough to be sure it's 100% correct. I'll be playing in the winter too, long term sim isn't a job for me.
