All-Star Game Player Injuries

The All-star team was just announced in my sim, and 2 players were chosen that are injured.
How do you replace an all-star who was voted to the team but injured? Looks like the teams are set regardless of injury.

I'm nor sure of the whole process and what mode you have to be in, but I let the AI choose the players first and then I revise them according to who I think should be All-Stars. The AI doesn't pick the best pitchers all of the time.

You can manually choose your All-Star Teams.
When a player is injured, I want him to get credit for making the All-Star Team, but I want him replaced, so the team has a full roster.

Just add a player to replace him. I pick a player who plays the same position.

Sometimes the injured player is healed by the All-Star Game and you have an extra player on the roster.

Once the All-Star team is announced it looks like the only option I have is to play the game. My injured players were dropped from the team (I do not have a starting ss). I do not see a way to add players since there is no "team" to add. The Allstar tab is only game play. So, looks like we need some help updating the All-Star game in the future.

I always pick my all-stars about a week before the game is played. Sorry, I should have told you that.
At that time you can still use the manual mode to make changes. Once they are picked you no longer can manually pick them. They have already been selected.

Look for the notice that all-star voting is taking place. I just check it a week prior to the All-Star Game. Always worked well for me.
