Variety in Packs

What's the deal with variety in packs? I own OOTP 24 and OOTP 25 and I am fixing to give up on it. Every pack I open I get nothing but duplicates. I have every MLB Live Card that I keep getting over and over and over again and it gets old. I spent 16,000 points on Spotlight pack to get nothing but duplicates. It was fun at first and opening packs getting something new and completing missions but now I am just tired of it. I have opened a pack and got a perfect, diamond and gold in one pack but that is very very rare.

I just spent 44,000 points on just the regular team packs. I did pull a Juan Soto 100 live card I already had and the rest duplicates. Its time I quit this game

You are supposed to sell the duplicates and use the points to buy cards you need in the card shop. I have over 4000 different cards, so the only non-duplicates I get these days are the recently issued live irons and bronzes. The only reason I get these "new" is because I sell them as fast as I get them. Stop buying packs and earn them for FREE by collecting twitch drops. Over 300 FREE packs this month alone.

I sell the duplicates but I didn't know about twitch drops. I will give that a try, Thank you

Great! There 3 kinds:

1) affiliate drops (up to 5 a day) - most common type
2) official drops (up to 5 a day) - OOTP Developments official channel. one stream per day (usually) sometimes 2 and sometimes none.
3) special occasions -- this is where specific affiliate streamers offer drops just for watching that particular streamer. There were 5 such occasions in August, so watch out for them. Typical times to watch for them are holidays, all-star game, world series, PTCS, PTMS, PTWC, and charity streams.
My record so far is 37 drops in a single day. (and there were 46 possible that day).
