iCloud

I’ve asked about this for several years now, but is there any way that you could look into some kind of a cloud save or allow us access to the save files on iPhones so that we can manually transfer the saves from an iPhone to an iPad and back? I love the bigger screen and menus on my iPad when I am at home, but hate having to play separate saves on my two devices. Plenty of other games have this capability. Is there any chance for this?

That’s interesting as I just assumed that I could play the same save between devices thinking they would sync when you signed in. The same way you can manage your PT game between desktop and Go.

So just to clarify, if playing the desktop version and the Go version you have to play separate games.

Desktop and Go saves are not compatible. Also the same Go save cannot be played on both your phone and tablet currently. PT is the only thing you can play on all three at the same time

Thanks. I have Go on my iPhone and was going to also buy it for my Android phone and Chromebook. So from what you are saying I would not be able to play the same save in each of them except for PT. Each device would have to have an entirely separate game?

Correct.

Many thanks for the clarification. That’s a shame and seems a bit of a missed opportunity to not enable the games to be synced to any device and certainly makes considering the multiple device purchase less viable.

I’m not talking about the desktop version and Go. I’m talking about two devices, both playing Go. I want to be able to play the same save on my iPad and iPhone.

Currently that is not possible.

I know that it is not available. It has never been an option. I was originally asking if there was anyway that it could possibly be added.

iCloud would be great

I would appreciate this too. Being able to play one team on both iPhone and iPad. Although it would mean I’d get a lot less work done.

Definitely not opposed to iCloud. We've been looking into implementing something to share saves for a while now, but want to also generalize it to Android. Will hopefully have something in the future, although I can't say for certain what exactly it'll look like at the moment.
On top of that we've been trying to come up with a system of porting saves from previous versions of the game into the new versions

+1 to this for me, mostly for backup purposes.

You guys have built a tremendously stable mobile version which is awesome and deserves kudos. But eventually I will get a new iPad or it will need a reset, and I’d like to be able to keep my save.
