Good Start - Bad Finish
Game 2 of the 2070 WS.
Good Start - Ward for the Cards, Hemphill for the Yanks. Both starters bringing it for 7 solid innings. Bad Finish - And then the bullpens took over ![]() _ |

Not sure I've ever seen a bullpen collapse - both ways - quite like that. Were the relievers tired, weak, overworked, lousy? The ERA's other than Woolsey (and maybe Galaviz) are high.
Also, as I rarely look at the play-by-play narrative, I was surprised to see EV for hits. When did OOTP start adding that to accounts? Is that a stat that comes into play in the game engine? If so, what about launch angle? Now I'm curious.

Sample size for the pitchers - 1st appearance of the series.
EV was in 24, can't remember for 23. Launch angle isn't in that I'm aware of, at least not yet. |
