Historic import birthplace(s) wrong

I noticed, whilst doing imports of historic players (deadball era players, which might be one reason why) that the birthplace of some (not all) is either unknown or incorrect - often the correct city, but the wrong state (Ontario CA instead of Ontario KS for instance)

The common factor seems to be the actual birthplace is a town/community that no longer exists (or still exists as an area/CDP instead of anything incorporated)

Nothing earth-shattering, of course - but curious if anyone else noticed this - I presume updating the city database and then a re-import to adjust birth city codes would fix.

Yes. Sometimes the db needs an update. Sometimes the city needs to be added to the database that OOTP pulls from. Longstanding issue. Post specific players here:
