Creating your own Historical league

I don't even know if it is possible with this program. But here is what I want to do.

I want to have a pool of all players, mostly historical players from 1900 to 1980, in the data base to create a custom league. I want to make up 16 teams. 8 in one league and 8 in the other league. Then I want to draft from the data base to build my own team rosters. Then I want the computer to control all the teams but the one I want to control.

Is this possible? If so, how?

One way that is sorta like you are talking about is a random debut league and set 1900-1980 as your random debut annual rookie draft. Don’t know if that would meet your criteria. You could use your league structure 8 and 8 teams.
If interested, just start a thread asking about setting up a random debut league.

There are times on these boards when threads get lost in the shuffle. Doesn't mean we don't care about newbies Always a good idea to post a "bump" as a reminder if you haven't heard something in a couple days

While I'm familiar with historical, I'm not very familiar with random debut, but there are a few who are veteran/experts. I'm sure they'll chime in with some help for you soon!

He isn't interested in random debut. He has 2 other threads about this topic. He wants to draft from all the the great players. Others have pointed out that this is possible, but one would have to do it manually. I think that's the rub.
