Should I Have More Camera Options?

Hello!

When watching some streamers of OOTP I've seen them have multiple different camera options than I'm not seeing. I've seen many other Centerfield close up cameras that looks like a TV broadcast. Others seem to have more options than what is available for me here in this pic and on my menus (see attached pic) ...

Maybe there are camera mods? Am I missing something? Any info or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I know you can manually change the camera angles but are there other preset options available?

Thanks!

I'd love to make a camera angle that mimics that cool "Megladon" camera the Cubs use on Marquee, one that looks at the stadium on a wide angle view from the upper levels of the stands ... but I have no idea how you do things like that lol

I have all of Sylvam's real world stadiums, and the angles that came with them.

I think that is all of the default cameras. I don't know of any individual camera mods. If you get Silvam's Historical ballparks they have cameras you could copy to your stadiums. Or you can create your own in the editor. It's not hard as nothing changes unless you save. Even then you can give the camera you are editing a new name. Of course backup your original stadium folder first and then have fun exploring.

I have been trying custom cam views for games streamed on Twitch or placed on YouTube for several years and I found that the best cam views are those made specifically for each ballpark as the depth and levels of the crowds will vary along with fence dimensions and even dugout locations. The bases are still 90 feet apart and so a few custom cam views from the infield can be pretty much standard. I like to change the main cam view just about after every inning with only about six other cam location available for action cam besides the one chosen for that particular inning, but most of my ballparks each now have nearly twenty custom cams in their own unique ballpark folder/.ootp file.

If I published a standard .ootp file to be used in every park it would probably have flaws since for example a cam view from the stands behind the firstbase dugout might look good in most places but in some others it might be located below the stands (same for cams from outfield bleachers, pressbox location, and other places). It has taken me many hours to patiently set up custom cams for each specific ballpark. There really is no shortcut cookie-cutter way to set up some .ootp file which is guaranteed to look good regardless of ballpark.

I use that CF Close Camera that you have listed there as my pitch cam and I think it looks a lot like a TV broadcast. And then I switch to Wide or Default for action so I can see the play on the field.
