14 Days...

I just swapped out a pitcher for a nice new purchase. The game glitched because of slow servers or something, and now they both have 14 days on them, with the new player unavailable. Obviously I'd love it if that could be corrected, but it'd be swell if this couldn't even happen.

Edit: logged in after a sim and the 14 days was gone. Either it fixed itself, or I have someone to thank.

1) So I want to try "The Combinator".

2) I purchased 77 Overall Raul Mondesi Combinator Card.

3) That card is now on Reserve.

4) I successfully level up that card.

5) I then want to put the Combinator Mondesi on Active Roster by moving my Regular Mondesi to Reserve. No problem. Now that Mondesi shows (14) as expected.

6) Now, of course, I want to place the Combinator Mondesi on the Active Roster. Problem is there is a (14) by that one too. Now, it's (13) as a game simmed without either.

Nice.

NOT fixing itself. Now both at (12)

I think - and I could be wrong - that's because the game believes it's the same Mondesi card, and/or shares the same name as him, so it wouldn't allow you to swap it out like that. I'll have to check with the team on that, or have them comment here, but that's my thinking.

I appreciate the response, Dish. They are two different cards. You can't level up a regular card. That is why I had to spend 15k on the combinator edition. If I put the regular card on reserve it shouldn't put the 2nd combinator card ineligible to activate. If so, why?

Yeah, I got confirmation on this: The game does treat the regular version and combinator version of the same player card as the same card, so hence why you got the 14-day cooldown.

ok, so don't level up a player that you have the regular card during the season because no matter how you do it both are going to be out 14 days. Seems stupid to me. The only way around that is to level up after season/playoffs are over and before next season.

If it is treated as the same card why did I lose Mondesi's history and training?
