Player Development Lab Not Working as Expected

As others have mentioned, appear to be getting opposite results from successful Player Development complex trainings. See screenshots:

Just in case, how much potential does he have in editor after you experienced it?
Because I saw some users reported this problem and they all had exactly 100 units(?).

I mean, no matter how much he had, it was always decreased to 200, 300, 400 or 500.
So if he is same, than it should be more kind of a bug of dev lab system instead random potential drop.

I'm doing challenge mode so not sure I am able to see that, although I could be missing something

Sometimes what might happen here is that a random talent drop comes at the same time as a dev lab increase. So the overall rating might drop, but it would drop by less than it would have had it not been for the dev lab success.
