suggest readjusting the league gap on defense and baserunning
Not as much as the batting, but I think there is definitely a gap between defense and base running between the upper and lower leagues. Let's take an example of the two players. Dixon Machado, who has played in Detroit in the mlb and Lotte in the kbo, was a player whose fielding in the mlb received 65 on a scale of 2080 but when he came to the kbo, he showed an excellent defense that he could have received a scale of 80
An example of the opposite is Jung Hoole, who currently plays for the SF Giants. In the KBO, he defended so well that he was ranked third and fourth among all center field players in the league, and received 65 out of 2080 scales. However, if you go up to the top league, you can see that the rating is reduced to about 50
I think not only defense but also base running, speed, and stolen bases should have a little discount. I'm not sure how much league gap I should cut in defense and base running, but I think what's clear is that it should be readjusted through players who have played in the two leagues
