Asking about kbo/mlb gap and kbo prospects
Many improvements have been made to the kbo league recently, and I am grateful for this. I look forward to working hard in the future
I'm curious about the process of how you guys put the gap between kbo and Mlb. Can you tell me? Recently, you've compared and evaluated the pitchers of kbo through the mercenaries who come to kbo. Do you put their gaps in other processes? Making league level differences is never an easy process, so I want to hear your answers and create a more detailed gap. And maybe because of the recent adjustment to pitchers, there seem to be quite a few pitchers with higher overalls than MLB. I think this is because the detailed adjustment for kbo typing has not yet been made. "Ryu Hyun-jin" of Hanwha Eagles and "An Woo-jin" of Kiwoom Heroes, who are now pseudonymized, have quite a difference in detailed statistics, but they are the same overalls. In the case of "Ryu Hyun-jin," it is an overall that fits the stub, movement, and pitch rating you have, but in the case of "An Woo-jin," your measured stub, movement, control, and pitch rating are all over 50, and the overall is measured at 40/45, so it seems to be quite disparate. Can you explain why this is happening? Ignoring the overalls and thinking that detailed stats are important, I've sent the top league several times, and even if I run the simulation, I've never shown the ability of detailed stats that I have as good as the same overall pitcher What I want to ask next is insight into prospect players in the kbo league. I am also aware that KBO does not have many data analysis sites and lacks observation of rookies and prospects compared to MLB, and I am actually somewhat sorry to inquire about this. However, prospects are still receiving high ratings because they are just top rounder. And I think the potential rating of kbo prospect is a bit strict compared to mlb. mlb prospect is based on mlb and kbo prospect is based on kbo. Based on simple comparison, it seems that there are far fewer kbo prospects with more than 70 potential ratings than mlb ones. Even if they receive 80, they often fail to reach it due to randomness and fake talent, so I think objective evaluation of kbo prospects should be made through adjustment. I don't know if this part is too much to ask for an opinion, but over time, I think it needs to be adjusted as prospects have a big impact on the in-game It is inevitably very difficult to have the same reality as the game. I recognize that it is a very difficult process to implement. I just know that there is such inconvenience, and I hope that there will be continuous interest and monitoring of the kbo league. I hope it will improve continuously, not feel that everything will be fixed at once. Thank you for making a great game, and I hope you have good luck with what you do Last edited by amazingsejin; 04-03-2024 at 03:29 PM. |
