Disengagement Rule?

I'd really love the 2 pitch disengagement rule. I was hoping it was implemented, but I just had 3 straight pickoff attempts without a balk called.

It would really be nice to have, because it should result in more tactical play. Once the pitcher has disengaged the mound twice, the runner can take a bigger lead as they know if the pitcher fails again, they get a free base. This should raise the number of successful stolen bases.

I get frustrated with all the pickoff attempts, so it would also be nice to have a reward for engendering them.

It will be really interested to see how this rule effects MLB and I'm disappointed to not see it in the game tbh.

I had stopped to make this post after watching 4 straight failed pickoff attempts. He made it to 7 before attempting an actual pitch.
