ballparks

I am mostly a historical player, how do I make sure Silvan's ballparks from my OOTP 24 game get into the new 25 version? Thanks for any advice.

You can manually copy the ballparks from your OOTP24 parks directory to your OOTP25 directory. Or you could wait until the steam workshop is up and running. I should have the new OOTP25 mod up there as soon as it is

Thank You for the great parks and your advice. I decided not to purchase thru Steam, will stay purchasing from OOTP website, old guy here. Thanks again.

I can't imagine going back to playing historical without the parks mod. Thanks for all your work!

The historical parks are a game changer for me, truly amazing. One question on coping my 2024 parks to 2025 folder, with the newer OOTP2025 MLB parks, how do I not override them? Hope I'm making sense. Thanks!

Safety first, make a backup of your original ballpark folder. After that I don't think any of Silvam's parks have the same name as default parks. I believe they all have they year/years included in the file name so should not overwrite anything.

Don't forget to backup, just in case.

What I do is manually copy over all of the Non-OOTP parks a bunch at a time. To make sure not to overwrite. No worries though. I will be uploading a non steam version of my mod to mediafire sometime this week. So you could just wait to download and use that

Hi Silvam14, Did you upload the non-steam version of your historical ballparks? If so, where can I find them? Do you post instructions how to download to get them into the proper folder? I'm new to this and am not all that computer savvy. Any help would be appreciated. Thnx

They might, but only in the case of "Ballpark exists in both base games, and was changed between '24 and '25."

So, here's how you work around that:

Back up OOTP25's ballpark folder
Copy OOTP24's ballpark folder into OOTP25's, overwriting dupes.
Copy your backup into your OOTP25 ballpark folder, overwriting dupes.

Now, any changes that were made to ballparks between versions are preserved.
