OOTP4 problem

I still use OOTP4 , and its 2k7, sept 8 to be exact and one game between baltimore and tampa will not sim, every other game is complete. I have tried simming and even playing the game, simming the month week and day, every time i try one of those it freezes the puter. any trouble shoots??? thanks!

Run computer manager, check to see if an "injured" pitcher is slated to pitch.

the pitchers are mclung and riley, both are OK, both teams are set to computer manager,

i tried changing tampa to human manager got all the way to the end of game and had error ootp will be closing, and it closes the game....

Use the schedule function to delete the game and reschedule it on an off day... maybe right before the teams play again?

After you delete the game, go to "sim one week". Hopefully this will work... I have not tested it. You may also want to stop simming after the first game of the next day has been simmed... then you can go into each of the teams involved in the error and try resetting their line-ups. Make sure that no strange pitcher that has been changed to a fielder or vice versa... to be sure, you can check the minors too for the same type of error.
