auto assign rookies vs draft
I'm trying out a historical league and I can't decide the pros and cons of assigning rookies to their first team or drafting.
Any thoughts would be appreciated |

Depends on if you want to use your historical knowledge to get all the best draftees, or if you want players to wind up on the teams they were IRL.

Thats my dilemma. I hate seeing Ted Williams or Joe DiMaggio playing for the Browns or Athletics because they got the first couple picks. I’m just afraid that if teams didn’t have a good farm system IRL then I’m compounding it in the game. Unless they make good trades they will stay bad.
