Is it possible to restrict free agents from signing with teams?

Hi

As I start my season in OOTP25 I want to make sure that Blake Snell etc don't sign with teams until I can use the commissioner mode to assign them to their correct team with the correct contract. Is there a way in the settings somewhere that I can make Blake Snell and other key Free Agents unable to sign with a team until I chose where they go based on their real life decision?

If you go to league settings, on the Functions tab there is an option to "set all teams to not allow ai roster changes".

Just don't forget to hit the function to reenable them again later.

You'd probably want to Retire them. And then un-retire them and sign them appropriately. But it begs the question, how far into the future are you going to sim until they sign in real life?

Oh I see now, you don't want to use my suggestion since it will stop all AI moves of any kind.

I would create a placeholder independent league with only 2 teams, disable the AI on it, have empty 1 game schedule that doesn't start until December, and assign them there until the appropriate time.
