Bourbon Neat Bat Boy Join Date: Mar 2024 Posts: 1	Releasing players on expiring contracts Hi, I'm new to this game. I'm in my 4th season and every year, the only way I can get rid of players on expiring contracts is to buy them out. I'm currently in the re-sign phase and have 50 contracts on the books. 15 of them are expiring July 1st. I need to release at least 6 of them to make room for draft picks that are due to be signed or I lose their rights. "Lapse player rights" is greyed out and not an option.
