PTCS #10: Coming Feb. 10!

Hey, everyone! The tenth and final Perfect Team Championship Series of Perfect Team 24 is coming up Saturday, February 10!

There will be 10 tournaments going on, with participation based on finishing in the Top 128 of the different weekly/daily leaderboards between Jan. 1 and Feb. 4 in each of the 10 PTCS categories

Here are the formats for each of the PTCS #9 tournaments. Please note that all formats will have a 1968 environment, and will be played at 2023 Gwangju KIA Champions Field.

• Iron: OOTP Era, No LE, DH off
• Bronze: Unsung Heroes, Rookie Sensations Only, DH on
• Silver: Special Edition, DH on
• Gold: Special Edition, DH on
• Diamond: Special Edition, Diamond Only, DH on
• Open: Special Edition, Open, DH on
• Wildcard: Special Edition, 1634 cap, LEs off, DH off
• Weekly Tournaments: Special Edition, Open, 1734 cap, DH on
• PD Daily + PD Weekly: Perfecto Draft

The tournaments began at noon ET on the 10th, with the finals broadcasted on our Twitch channel, twitch.tv/ootpdevelopments.

A Reminder About the Perfecto Draft Position Breakdown:

As a reminder, with Perfecto Perfect Drafts, you will pick two cards from an array of six in each of the 13 rounds. These are the position breakdowns of what you'll see:

Park Factors and Other Information

Here are the park factors for 2023 Gwangju KIA Champions Field:

• AVG vL: .899
• AVG vR: .896
• Doubles: .863
• Triples: .855
• HR vL: 1.023
• HR vR: 1.030

If you do well in a PTCS tournament, you will receive points toward a separate PTCS leaderboard, with the Top 64 in those leaderboards after the 6th through 10th PTCSes going to the Perfect Team Master Series!

There will be two separate PTCS leaderboards, one for the Daily/Weekly Traditional PTCSes, and one for the Daily/Weekly Perfect Draft PTCSes, that will funnel into a Traditional Tournament PTMS and a Perfect Draft PTMS.

Here's the point breakdown:

• 1st – 300 points
• 2nd – 100
• 3rd-4th – 75
• 5th-8th – 40
• 9th-16th – 20
• 17th-32nd – 5
• 33rd-64th – 2
• 65th-128th – 1

If you finish in the Top 32 of a PTCS, you'll also receive a PTCS-exclusive reward card based on how you did, along with any reward cards below the tier you reached! Here's a look at those prizes, with the first-place prize in the next post!

That is not intended, but rest assured that the ballpark that we've listed in the sheet here is the ballpark being used. I have no clue why it does it, but I can confidently say Gwangju will be the ballpark used.

Question: What is the pitcher stamina set at for the PTCS tourneys? 1968 is sort of an in between year - but I've noticed sometimes even in the 50s tourneys, you can run a 3-man rotation. Are these needing a 5-man, 4-man or 3-man rotation?

Makes a huge difference knowing this ahead of the time if it is one of the latter for the cap tourneys.

Probably too late to get a reply on this before the start of the tourneys, but I'll check in the morning and see. Thanks in advance if a dev sees this in time.

I think you can get away with 5 starters and 5 relievers with 16 bats, But thats just me.
