Invalid Database version
When I try to continue a game on Steam I get 'Invalid Database Version'.
Everything was ok the last time I played. I didn't make any changes. Plus, when I select Load Game, none of my saved games are listed. Everything is blank. |

Have a look in your save folder (to find it, go to the start screen, then click on Settings, then Troubleshooting, and "Open Customizable Data Folder", then open the saved_games folder) - are the saves themselves still there? You should have a folder full of subfolders with a .lg extension, and a file named load_index.dat.

There is a slight difference in where the lg files are stored.
The question is - what is the standard folder that FHM looks for saved games? (and why/how/if was it changed for me? Everything worked ok up until yesterday afternoon and I didn't change anything in FHM) FHM still gets the same error for me (Invalid Database version) because it's not looking in the same folder as where my saved games are stored. Isolved the problem by copying the lg files.
Don't know why the folder where FHM looked for files got moved. |
