Pitcher/Position Player?
ok so i have a guy (myself) who has been pitching in the bigs in my season for about 9 years and as he gets older i have decided that, if possible, i would like for him to be a regular position player on days when he is not the starting pitcher. is there any way to do this without switching him back to SP every 5th day or so? i have him as a dh after his having been an sp and he stays in the rotation but when he starts he only pitches an inning or so and then a reliever comes in. i dont play any of the games, i just sim them. is it possible for a player to be a player to play both ways?
thx in advance. |

You do have to keep switching him to a SP. Also, at the end of the season, if he's not set to pitcher, the game doesn't seem to keep a record of his career pitching stats for that year, so make sure he's set to pitcher at the end.
