Can you export historical game from OOTP 22 to OOTP 24?

I have OOTP22 and plan to buy OOTP 24 today. I have a 1985 historical season going in 22 and was wondering if, and how, I can export that into 24 when I purchase.

You'll need to import it into OOTP 23 and then from there into 24.

You can download OOTP 23 here: https://www.ootpdevelopments.com/ootp-prior-version/. You should be able to use an unlicensed copy of 23 to just import the save file. Then repeat the process with OOTP 24.

After a certain year, the "demo" (for this purpose) was just the game without a license. So, if there is no demo for a year, just get the main game for your computer type and use the import function at the bottom of the start screen for the interim conversation en route to the current game's version.

Make sure you realize that importing your game into OOTP 24 will cause some changes if you have certain leagues within your universe. You won't be effected if the universe is entirely fictional, but will be if otherwise.

How do you import? I only get an option to enter a key or buy one.

(may have found it in Settings | Restore from a Backup... did something that seemed to convert

I take it back... that restored it to OOTP23, but did not save it in OOTP23 format. OOTP24 is rejecting it.

I take back the takeback... right next to settings is "IMPORT 2022" DOH!
