Hart trophy

I thought this had been tweaked in FHM9 because I didn’t see McDavid running away so much with the Hart in my last FHM9 save but it appears that after playing FHM10 the Hart trophy selection still appears to have some flawed logic.

The most recent season I played is a good example. Matthews scores 61 goals and 117 points to lead the league in both categories. His team was third in the league and he had very good underlying numbers. McDavid had 36 goals and 102 points and Edmonton missed the playoffs by a mile. His underlying numbers were good but not better than Matthews. But he won the Hart (and Lindsay) and not AM. It’s a pretty regular occurrence that only the high end players can win a Hart (a 3.5-4* player for example could tear apart the league for a single year and not get nominated for example) and in McDavids case it generally takes an injury for him to miss out.
