Custom paths

With the addition of the custom data path this year (fantastic for those affected by the frustrating OneDrive issues) It got me thinking - would it ever be possible to specify a custom 'Graphics' location?

At the moment I have to keep a copy of my custom graphics folder and copy it over the quickstart graphics each time there is an update as it overwrites some of the logos etc etc this is time consuming and tedious. I'd thought maybe I could work around it with a SymLink or something but due to the naming convention it's not possible. If this was an additional setting located in the same place as the custom path it would be incredibly useful going forward.

be careful what you wish for, upon load the game has a tendency of overwriting the graphics folder from the game default files. so it's best to at least keep a seperate copy of your custom graphics, and then copy them into the save folder manually (when needed)

Hmm, I'm not sure if you've understood my post. That is what I am already doing - I'd mentioned that I keep a copy of my modded graphics folder separately and manually update it each time there is a patch/update by copying it over the default graphics folder in the quickstarts (for when I start a new game).

What I'd like is to tell the game to look at a global graphics folder, much like it already does for the 'fg_files folder' - so that it's not subject to being overwritten (in parts) each time there is a patch or update etc.
