Creating Pre-game Editor vs Custom Leagues

Hello,

What is the reason behind not having pre-game editor? From logic point of view thanks to editor we could leave most of Custom League Dev Frenzy and focus on other things. I understand that Jeff team is not that big even though having this once done and implementing any hardcoded logic to pre game editor will Save a lot of time for future releases.
Even if this would lead to some crashes, user will learn how to setup certain things (e.g. EIHL and Challenge Cup) If not They would need to live with gamę as it is.
Couple years ago Sebastian P. (2013/2016) said we could see editor in some.point of time. Is that point nearing?
