Cannot start OOTP - Illegal Operation

I've installed OOTP and I have the latest version of DirectX. However, whenever I open OOTP5.exe, I get an illegal operation error. It says that OOTP5.exe caused an "invalid page fault in module MMFS.DLL".
I'm running this in Virtual PC on an iMac, 333 mhz, with 96 MB of RAM.
Please help! I really want to get this game going!

Might be wrong, but I think OOTP5 does work on a Virtual PC due to the ViaTech software.

How is it their fault? Didn't you guys write the OOTP5.exe program?

Inorder for the game to run, it has to be "elicensed" by Via-Tech, otherwise it will not open. That is the method we have chosen to use to sell and copy protect the game. "As far as I know", the elicense process doesn't work on Mac's(but my knowledge is limited since I have never used a mac), hence why you should probably contact them concerning this.

This has been discussed a few times before with OOTP 4 and OOTP 5, Here are a few discussions I was able to find. It does not sound like anyone has been able to get elicense to work with Virtual PC.

I couldnt get OOTP5 to work..either.. licensing issues..they eventually sent me a new MMFS.dll file..........and it works fine!
